Contemporary Artefact Vase no.2
This piece is part of a new body of work reimagining classical forms as contemporary artifacts.
I bring a fairly playful approach to the design and construction of these pieces, with a focus on exaggerated proportions and a balanced contrast between curves and angular lines.
Finished with a combination of my handmade glazes that have been developed to compliment and accentuate the natural iron in the clay.
Approximately 17cm high x 12cm wide
